Sportify’25 – Celebrating Sportsmanship

ICYM Udupi Diocese and ICYM Udupi Deanery successfully organized sportify’25, a diocesan level sports event, on May 25, 2025, at the Mahatma Gandhi District Stadium in Ajjarkad, Udupi. The event commenced with a Holy Mass, followed by a range of sporting activities including track and field events, relay races, throwball, volleyball, and badminton. Highlights of the ceremony included a march past, an oath-taking ceremony, and the official launch of REDON, the diocese’s blood donation logo. Sportify’25 concluded with a valedictory ceremony, which served to acknowledge the event’s sponsors and physical training instructors, while also celebrating the spirit of sportsmanship, solidarity and faith.
