YOUCAT
YOUCAT stands for Youth Catechism of the Catholic Church. It is a global Catholic initiative designed to help young people understand, live, and share the teachings of the Catholic Church in a simple, engaging, and contemporary way.
Launched during the World Youth Day 2011, YOUCAT was developed with the active involvement of young people under the guidance of the bishops of the Church. It presents the teachings of the Catholic faith in an easy-to-understand question-and-answer format, supported by Scripture references, illustrations, quotes from saints, and practical examples.
Today, YOUCAT has grown beyond a book into an international movement that includes study groups, digital platforms, catechetical programs, apps, social media initiatives, and faith formation resources for young people worldwide.
