Karnataka Regional Youth Commission (KRYC) is under the leadership of Karnataka Regional Catholic Bishop's Council (KRCBC). Most Rev. Dr. Peter Machado, Archbishop of Bangalore is the President of KRCBC and also the president of KRYC.

It is one of the 22 Regional Commissions of the KRCBC. Most Rev. Dr. Henry D’Souza, Bishop of Bellary Diocese is the Chairman of the Karnataka Regional Youth Commission and Most Rev. Mar Joseph Arumachadath Bishop of Bhadravathi is the joint-chairman. Read More

Pre-RYC Meeting at Bishop’s House, Bellary

The Karnataka Regional Youth Commission (KRYC) convened at Bishop’s House, Bellary, for the much-anticipated Pre-Regional Youth Convention meeting, setting the stage for the grand Regional Youth Convention to be held in Karwar from October 2 to 5, 2025. The gathering of 35 members was graced by KRYC Chairman Bishop, Most Rev. Dr. Henry D’Souza, who reminded the youth that what gives life or death are the choices we make.

Yuva Habba 2K25 – A Celebration of Faith and Joy for the Youth of Shimoga Diocese

Shimoga, August 11, 2025: On 10 August 2025, the Yuvamitra, Youth Commission of the Diocese of Shimoga, organized YUVA HABBA (Youth Jubilee) – National Youth Sunday at Sacred Heart Cathedral, Shimoga. This special event brought together 250 youth and 25 animators from various parts of the diocese to celebrate their faith and shared experiences.

YCS Vanamahotsav: Greening the Future

On June 7, 2025, the Young Christian Students (YCS) unit of Ferar parish, Mangalore diocese, organized a meaningful tree plantation drive at St. Francis Xavier’s church, Ferar, as part of the RSLTP action plan. The program commenced at 8.30 am with a brief inauguration, where the parish priest, Fr. James D’Souza, together with YCS animator Mr. Mark Pereira, planted the first sapling.
